2022 Episode 26: Scott Frost Is Fired

This podcast is a replay of the live show Travis Justice and Dr. Rob Zatechka did the night Scott Frost was fired as Nebraska's Head Coach.

Mickey Joseph will serve as Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the 2022 season. Nebraska lost to Georgia Southern last night 45-42 in Frost's last game as Head Coach. The Huskers are 1-2 on the season.

Frost ends his Nebraska coaching career with a 16-31 record, 0-13 against ranked teams, and 5-19 in games decided by 7 points or less. Frost failed to produce a winning season at Nebraska and never qualified for a bowl game. Frost, a National Championship-winning quarterback for the Huskers, came to Nebraska following an undefeated season at Central Florida. He was considered a "Home Run" hire who could unite the fan base. The Wood River native is scheduled to receive a $15-million buyout of his contract.
