Injuries are part of the game of football, we all know that. Every year during preseason camp it's not a matter of how, but rather who gets hurt and how long is he out for during the season.
The Rimington Trophy presents another season of the Husker Doc Talk Podcast. In episode 4 of 2017, Dr. Rob and Travis discuss the injuries that are affecting the Huskers at this point in fall camp and if they will have big of an effect on the rest of the season. So far the first week of practice has been dominated by talk of the defense. The biggest news is the fact that Josh Kalu is going to stay at safety others will fight it out at the corner spot to replace the injured Chris Jones.

We are getting closer to the start of fall practice. The unofficial launch of the season in our eyes is Big 10 Media Days in Chicago.
In this edition of the Husker Doc Talk Podcast presented by the Rimington Trophy, Dr. Rob and Travis have listened to all the coaches and players and had a few thoughts to share. Of course, they are doing it while drinking beer! This week the grab a couple from the Mexican sample purchased at Sam's Club. The lighter the beer, the faster it goes down for Dr. Rob.
This week we spend a lot of time talking about Mike Riley's comments to the Big 10 Network regarding the changes on defense and the playmakers Nebraska needs to get the ball to in order to have a better season than last year.
